住宅用火災警報器から「電池切れです」と鳴ったときは、どうすればいいのですか。

What should I do if my residential fire alarm sounds "Battery low"?

To stop the alarm, press the alarm stop button or pull the cord. However, if the battery remains dead, the alarm will sound again in 16 hours for the standalone model and in 0-24 hours for the wireless model.

When replacing the battery, be sure to purchase a genuine Panasonic lithium battery with the same model number as the battery you are using. (Please ask your retailer to order it as a replacement part.)
Please note that if you use batteries other than genuine Panasonic products, the alarm may not perform as expected, and we cannot guarantee its quality or reliability.

The model number of the dedicated lithium battery is printed on the battery itself and in the instruction manual, so please check before purchasing. Please see here for battery replacement instructions.

How to replace the dedicated lithium battery
1. Remove the main unit (ceiling mounted).

- In particular, if the work is mounted on a ceiling, you will be working at a high altitude, so please be careful of your footing.

2. Pull the connector out of the battery connector by holding the red and white wires.

3. Insert a new dedicated lithium battery.

4. Check the operation.
Wait for at least 2 seconds, then press the alarm stop button for at least 1 second.
→If the battery is installed correctly, you will hear a beep.
Please use as is.

*The battery can be removed and installed without removing the screws from the main unit and disassembling it, so please replace the battery without removing the screws.
