Long-acting lithium manganese dioxide batteries
Durable lithium manganese dioxide battery which can be stored for a maximum of five years without losing energy. After its installation, the battery generally lasts four years in standby mode. A spare battery can be stored together with the defibrillator to ensure that the device is always ready for use.
When the lithium battery M5070A is empty, the defibrillator indicates this with an acoustic signal, the status indicator changes its color to red, and the blue “I” button starts flashing. The empty battery can offer a minimal residual capacity for an emergency use, but should be replaced as soon as possible for the preservation of the device’s life-saving function.
